On Top of Old Smoky

The beautiful Smoky Mountains look mysterious and unattainable when the early morning mist forms all around the base. The effect is one that is seen in few other places on earth, and is caused by a mix of high humidity and hydrocarbons. While visiting this gorgeous area, why not stay in a luxurious vacation home?

A vacation rental is the only real way to take in all the sites and majestic beauty all around. Vacation homes are the perfect way to really see what it would be like to live in such an amazing area. They are much more comfortable and roomy than staying at a hotel. Plus, they have everything that a person could need while on vacation.

The Smoky range is part of the Appalachian Mountains and is a fabulous place to visit and connect with nature in all kinds of ways.  The hiking , the canoeing opportunities, the whitewater rafting are just a sample of what is in store for visitors to this gorgeous part of America.

Rather than stay at a hotel, it is advisable that visitors rent a vacation home.  The reasons for this are many.  First, there is the price.  In most cases, people who rent vacation homes get much more for their dollar.  Rather than one room with two beds, a vacation home will have separate bedrooms and oftentimes, more than one bath.

A vacation home will offer all the amenities of a home, while still being able to get away from it all and be on vacation. This is especially nice when traveling as a group of friends or families with children. There are plenty of rooms and space in a vacation home, so that everyone can still stay together, but has plenty of room to spread out and get some privacy as well.
These homes are fully equipped with furniture, linens and kitchen implements and are every bit as comfortable and cozy as vacationers’ own homes. They are perfect way to always have everything you need and never have to worry about parking, like at a hotel. Plus, you always know who is the room next to you and there is no concern with interruptions or housekeeping showing up unexpectedly either like what can happen while staying at a hotel. Instead you have all the privacy you want and can take your vacation the way you want to.

Renting a vacation home in this historical place is an excellent way to get an up close and personal view of where the Cherokee Indians used to live in tribes and where the Cades Cove Loop ends its journey.  Take a trip out to do plenty of site seeing and shopping, if the group is tired, head back to the vacation rental to rest and relax, grab a snack and maybe take a nap, before heading out again for more site seeing and fun. The mountains and the valley are excellent places to explore, relax or just walk around and take pictures.  Visit the Smoky Mountains soon!
